Shelly Rogers founded A2J Happy Tails K9 Training in 2021 with a clear purpose: to support children with special needs and their families through the life-changing partnership of a trained service dog. What began as a deep passion for serving families through their challenges has developed into a structured, results-driven approach to service dog training, behavior modification, and real world obedience.

She works closely with each family to develop dogs that are not only well trained, but dependable in everyday life. Every program is built on structure, consistency, and clear communication, ensuring both the dog and handler are set up for long term success.

At A2J Happy Tails K9 Training, the training process is designed to include both the dog and the handler every step of the way. Owner transfer is a critical part of each program, ensuring that skills are not only learned, but consistently applied in the home and real world environments.

Training does not stop at program completion. Ongoing support and follow-up sessions are available to reinforce behavior, maintain reliability, and address any changes as the dog and handler continue working together.

Shelly Rogers works with families navigating autism, epilepsy, POTS, diabetes, mobility challenges, physical disabilities, and other complex conditions, providing service dogs trained to deliver real, dependable support in daily life. These situations can be overwhelming, and the right service dog can bring stability, safety, and greater independence to both the individual and their family.

Every dog is trained with purpose, ensuring they are not only well behaved, but capable of performing meaningful tasks when it matters most. The goal is not just training, but creating a reliable partnership that improves quality of life and supports long term success.
